At a Harmonie Group’s meeting in London, BLD-Partner Bastian Finkel explained the legal situation in Germany with regard to cyber-liability.

Under the heading "International Data Breach Law – A Comparative Guide", several international law firms have developed a comparative guide describing the most significant issues of cyber law in Europe and North America with regard to data protection. BLD lawyers Bastian Finkel, Dr. Alexander Beyer and Dr. Sven-Markus Thiel have elaborated the German part of this guide. The comparative guide especially takes into account the cross-border requirements of cyber space and offers a useful overview of the different requirements of data protection law in the principal European and North American jurisdictions.
