At BLD, we are committed to promoting women within our company because we believe that this contributes to strengthening our law firm both on a professional and personal level.
"BLD Women Connect" is all about visibility, networking and mutual support. Our network offers the women in our law firm a safe space where they can open up, share experiences and learn from one another.
"BLD Women Connect" is much more than just a networking platform. Our network focuses on the personal and professional development of our female employees, including through measures such as networking within and beyond the law firm. The network supports women in our law firm and encourages them to build successful careers and find solutions for individual career paths. This is because we at BLD are convinced that our female employees can build successful careers beyond traditional paths.
To this end, the founders of our women's network regularly host events, workshops, and inspiring talks. This forum gives all female lawyers at BLD the opportunity to network, establish new contacts, learn from the experiences of others and further their professional development. These events are always highly popular, not only because they feature specialist legal presentations, but also because they offer a variety of formats for sharing personal stories and experiences. We are particularly pleased to regularly welcome guest speakers to our law firm, who share their personal experiences and professional expertise, thereby providing not only external input but also new contacts.
We aim to create a setting that promotes equality, where all women – regardless of their age, background, family situation, field of activity, etc. – have equal access to opportunities for development, training, career advancement, advice, and opportunities to exchange ideas. Our women's network is not only committed to ensuring that women are successful in our industry, but also to positively transforming the professional environment so that even fairer and more diverse conditions are created for young, aspiring female lawyers.
