Chambers and Partners has published the Germany Guide 2026 and has once again awarded BLD top ranking in the "Insurance Germany" category this year: band 1 status for the law firm and individual recognition for six of our colleagues.
Once again, Chambers has recognised BLD as providing "outstanding insurance practice with a particular focus on defending major national and international insurance companies in legal disputes". The law firm is highlighted for its regular handling of D&O, liability and product liability cases, as well as its strength in processing liability issues arising from cyber-attacks, claims arising from industrial damage and insolvency law disputes. Furthermore, Chambers highlights that BLD is "highly esteemed for its advice on insurance supervision law" and provides support in the development of new property, life and health insurance products.
