Jan Binz is a lawyer in the Financial Lines and the Life and Regulatory departments at the Munich office. In the Life and Regulatory department, he provides comprehensive advice on various supervisory issues. Mr Binz has, among other things, advised on mergers of insurance groups and the approval of new insurance products. Another key area of Mr Binz's work involves advising companies and directors on issues relating to conduct supervision. In the Financial Lines department, Mr Binz is involved in the areas of financial loss liability insurance and D&O insurance. Mr Binz's responsibilities in this area include both claims monitoring and defence against claims (liability and coverage).
