Our Cologne-based BLD partners Bastian Finkel and Carsten Hösker, LL.M., were recognised as Thought Leaders in the "Insurance & Reinsurance" category in the Lexology Index. This independent ranking recognises leading legal professionals in their respective areas of law.
The ranking was published under the name "Who's Who Legal" from 1996 to 2024 and is appearing this year for the first time under a new title and with an expanded database. The recognition as Thought Leaders honours BLD's reliable work and distinguishes the lawyers as national experts in the "Insurance and Reinsurance" category. We would like to congratulate our colleagues on this special recognition.
In addition to Bastian Finkel and Carsten Hösker, LL.M., our former partner Dr Rainer Büsken, who passed away on 20 March 2025 at the age of 68, was also honoured. His pioneering work and influential impact on the law firm's development continue to be felt to this day.
