Dr Reinhard Dallmayr, Of Counsel, has been honoured with the "Lifetime Achievement Award" at the inaugural "Chambers Germany Awards" in recognition of his lifetime's work in insurance law.
On 3 April, the "Chambers Germany Awards" took place in Berlin, where Chambers awarded prizes to law firms and lawyers in various categories for the first time in Germany.
BLD was also there – not least because our Of Counsel, Dr Reinhard Dallmayr, was honoured with a special award for his outstanding lifetime's work in insurance law.
The "Chambers Lifetime Achievement Award" is an individual award presented by Chambers in Germany. The award is given to lawyers who have had a major impact on the market and their field of law over many years.
This is certainly the case for Dr Reinhard Dallmayr, who has helped shape advice in insurance law for decades. He was a long-standing name partner at BLD Bach Langheid Dallmayr and, even after stepping down from the partnership, he continues to advise his national and international clients as Of Counsel at BLD across all insurance sectors, particularly in insurance supervision law, product development, reinsurance, and D&O and W&I insurance.
He accepted the award for his achievements in person on stage. We would like to congratulate Dr Reinhard Dallmayr on this well-deserved award and are delighted to still count him, as a renowned legal figure, amongst our BLD team.
We would also like to congratulate all the other winners who were honoured that evening at the Chambers Germany Award 2025.
