Dr. Julia Achtmann

Dr Julia Achtmann is a lawyer in the Financial Lines department at the Cologne office. Her work focuses on advising on national and international liability claims from the areas of D&O, professional indemnity as well as clinical trials and pharmaceutical product liability insurance. She also supports our clients in the development and review of insurance products. Our clients appreciate Dr Julia Achtmann’s experience with foreign legal systems as well as her strong understanding of business contexts and imperatives. In recent years, she has been involved, among other things, in advising D&O insurers in connection with the VW emissions scandal and cross-border investor lawsuits.
