Jan Ekelmans is a lawyer and partner at the law firm's office in The Hague. He has been working as a lawyer for more than 30 years at the point where corporate law, liability law and insurance law meet. He specialises in cases that involve complex issues or where there is a high level of risk due to internal politics or public attention. Jan Ekelmans was involved in the privatisation of hospitals, in outsourcing insurers’ activities and the settlement of disputes concerning the financial terms and conditions of insurance products. He assisted with major acquisitions, privatisations and outsourcing of services, as well as the settlement of complex disputes involving a wide range of insurance companies.
