Cologne

The lawyer Mr Schliephake laid the foundation for today's BLD law firm in Cologne in 1911. Not only does the law firm have its largest office in the city where the famous Cologne Cathedral is situated, it also has its headquarters there, where the management and business services are based. Since 2011, the Cologne office has been located in the listed building at Theodor-Heuss-Ring 13-15, not far from the Higher Regional Court. From there, over 400 BLD employees provide national and international clients with leading expertise in insurance and liability law.   

How to find us:

By car coming from the A3 and A4:
Take the A3 towards Cologne and change onto the A4 towards Cologne city centre at junction “Kreuz Köln-Ost”. Follow the A4 to the exit “Köln-Mülheim”. Turn right onto Frankfurter Straße and follow the signs to Theodor-Heuss-Ring. Continue along Theodor-Heuss-Ring until you reach number 13-15. There are parking spaces available in the surrounding car parks or in the designated visitor parking spaces.

By car coming from the A1 and A559:
Take the A559 towards “Köln-Zentrum” and change to the A4 towards “Köln-Zentrum” at junction “Kreuz Köln-Süd”. Take the exit “Köln-Mülheim” and continue on Frankfurter Straße to Theodor-Heuss-Ring. Your destination is on the right-hand side. Parking spaces are available in the nearby car parks.

By plane:
Cologne/Bonn Airport: You can reach the office by taxi in about 20 minutes.

By train:
From Cologne Central Station: Take underground lines 14 towards “Ebertplatz”, 16 towards “Niehl Sebastianstraße” or 18 towards “Thielenbruch” to the stop “Ebertplatz”. From there, it takes approximately 5 minutes to walk to Theodor-Heuss-Ring 13-15.

By public transport:
Stop “Heumarkt” (underground lines 1, 3, 4, 7, 9): From there, it takes about 8 minutes to  walk to Theodor-Heuss-Ring 13-15. 

Alternatively, you can get off at the stop “Deutzer Freiheit” (lines 1, 7, 9) and then walk for about 10 minutes.
